Introduction

The division currently consists of three anesthesiologists and 10+ nurse-anesthetists. We prioritize in providing anesthetic care for plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, dentistry, otolaryngology, pediatric surgery, and dermatology. We further specialize in 24-hr painless labor and post-operative pain control.

Service & Specialty

Painless labor:
We use minimum amounts of local anesthetic doses to reduce the pain of parturients, thus decrease the risk of delay progress of labor and cesarean section.

Post-operative pain control:
Given appropriate pain control after surgery to reduce the incidence of post-operative complications, so that patients can fully nursed back to health, accelerate recovery, reduce hospital stay and social costs. This course is currently using:
1. Epidural analgesia : we inject a little analgesics to epidural catheter. It has fewer side effects.
2. Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA): we inject analgesics to intravenous catheter and set appropriate modes to achieve pain control.
Both of the above must be at their own expense, are not covered by health insurance.
